Melody

Melody is the most important part of many of the songs we love. Why do we love how some songs sound a lot more than others?
We like them because of 1) their notes, and 2) their 'beat.' We will explore some common melodies that are easy to remember and talk about what makes them so easy to remember and fun to sing!

Music for Hearing Impaired

Cochlear implants provide deaf children and adults with the chance to hear speech.  Does this mean they hear normally?  No, and there are often problems with music.  You'll get to hear some music written specially for kids with cochlear implants.  You'll also get to learn a couple of songs written for them  -- hope you're not scared of robots!
