Electronic circuits can produce internal voltage waveforms that can converted into speaker vibrations. This vibration in turn produces waveforms in  the air and eventually sounds in our ears. During this session, the participants build electronic oscillating circuits (internal voltage waveforms) and play the output waveform through speakers. The oscillation frequency is determined by a resistor (resistance) which, when modified will change the frequency of the sound. This resistance is eventually changed into a resistive sensor to produce real-time sound changes, the basis for a musical instrument.
