MIT offers a Toy Product Design class (http://web.mit.edu/2.00b/www/), an introductory product design class for freshman and sophomore mechanical engineers. The head instructor (Geoff Tsai) and two of the 2.00b students will be around on Tuesday to talk about their experiences, share some tips on prototyping and the creative design process, and hopefully demo of some of their prototypes.
